This Privacy Policy explains how Tarot by Andy (the "app") handles information when you use it on iPhone or iPad. It is written to meet the requirements of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA), and Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

The short version: your readings stay on your device. Tarot by Andy has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we don't collect any personal data.

1. Who we are

Tarot by Andy is an independent project operated by a sole individual under the name "Andys Apps". The data controller is:

2. Information we collect

None. The app does not send your information to us or to anyone else. There is no sign-up, no login, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking code.

3. What stays on your device

To work, the app keeps some information on your iPhone or iPad. It never leaves your device:

InformationWhy
Your readings, the questions you ask, your notes and your journalSo you can look back on your readings
Your settings, chosen deck and today's free readingSo the app works the way you set it up
Follow-up reminders (only if you turn them on)Scheduled on your device to remind you to look back on a reading

4. Purchases

Tarot by Andy Plus is a subscription sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never receive your payment details, name or Apple Account. The app asks the App Store on your device whether Plus is active. Apple gives us sales reports that don't identify you.

5. Sharing a reading

When you share a reading, the iOS share sheet sends it to the app or person you choose. From there, that app's or service's privacy policy applies.

6. Internet connections

The app works offline. It connects only to Apple: to the App Store, to show the price of Plus and to handle your subscription, and to Apple's servers, to download a Plus deck when you choose one. Apple handles these connections under Apple's Privacy Policy; we receive nothing from them.

7. Crash reports

If you have turned on Share with App Developers in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with us. We use them only to fix problems. You can turn this off at any time.

8. Children

Tarot by Andy doesn't collect personal data from anyone, including children.

9. This website

This website is hosted by Vercel. It uses no cookies and no analytics. Vercel may log visitors' IP addresses to run and protect the service; see the Vercel Privacy Policy.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and PDPA you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data. Because we don't hold personal data about you, there is nothing for us to show, correct or delete: your information is on your device and under your control. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and delete them when they are no longer needed. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app works differently, for example a feature that needs to send something to a server, we will update this policy before that version is released, and the app will tell you what is sent before you use the feature. The date at the top shows the latest change.
